“Nestled” oil on canvas, 40x30cm (2.4.22) (after Frank Sherwin) the second in a trio collection, in honour of my beloved late Mama, Renée Chatlani. This painting she did not paint.  However, I really loved the strength of the trees, as they revealed themselves to me as I painted.  The depth of their presence, with the village nestled between them, and the view of the sea and  land beyond, captured my imagination.  The painting resembles the landscape of Provence, France, and yet is in Cornwall, England.  Mama would have loved this!
