Description

Inspired by the 112 foot statue of Adi Yogi Shiva at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbature, Tamil Nadu, India. The Adiyogi statue is a 34-metre-tall, 45-metre-long and 7.62-metre-wide steel statue of the Indian deity Shiva at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the “Largest Bust Sculpture” in the world. Designed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, it weighs around 500 tonnes.

Shiva lit. ‘the auspicious one’ also known as Mahadeva ( lit. ‘the deity of deities’) is one of the principal deities of Hinduism. He is the supreme being within Shaivism, one of the major traditions within contemporary Hinduism.“Shiva” refers to both “that which is not,” and Adiyogi, because in many ways, they are synonymous.  “Adi Yogi” means the first yogi.
