“Bip”

Description

“Bip”, my first sketch in 1980 after a fantastic performance in London by the great mime and theatre artist
Marcel Marceau.  His famous stage persona was “Bip The Clown”. On my return from the performance, I remember sitting up in bed with the programme, where I drew the cover portrait, in a very short time.  I still have the programme. And for the first and only time, so far, I see the resemblance!
