“Le Pont Sur La Marne”  après Cézanne, acrylic on board 40x30cm . Today 24 June 2022, I joined the Oakwood Art Circle at Christ the King Church. I set myself 2 tasks : to begin serious study of Burne Hogarth’s techniques for Figure Drawing, and to attempt my impression of Cézanne’s Pont Sur La Marne.  After 1.5 hours I can say I was pleasantly surprised.

“Le Pont Sur La Marne”  après Cézanne, acrylic on board 40x30cm . Today 24 June 2022, I joined the Oakwood Art Circle at Christ the King Church. I set myself 2 tasks : to begin serious study of Burne Hogarth’s techniques for Figure Drawing, and to attempt my impression of Cézanne’s Pont Sur La Marne.  After 1.5 hours I can say I was pleasantly surprised.
