“Black Swan”

“Black Swan”, oil on canvas,40x30cm palette knife  10.2.2023 Inspired by Edgar Degas “Ballet Dancers”. After applying the first layer of paint, overnight I received a message from Spirit, that the dancer would be a Black Swan. I knew intuitively that this was hugely symbolic message. I have researched the meaning of  the metaphor of the “Black Swan” applied on the world stage e.g. Question : What is the meaning behind Black Swan? Answer : The black swan theory or theory of black swan events, is a metaphor that describes an event that comes as a surprise, has a major effect, and is often inappropriately rationalized after the fact with the benefit of hindsight.
