““Siyotanka” – Great Song” oil, collage and cold wax on canvas 62x46cm. Siyotanka is Lakota – Native American Flute, also refers to a “courting flute”. I was inspired to dabble in a little collage by using some original feathers which I had collected along my travels. I researched the best way for them to adhere, was to use cold wax. A new thing for me. Worked well!
