As Renée’s eyesight diminished into her later years, she was unable to paint and draw as she had done since her very early adolescence. Agreeing to Mohini’s suggestion and encouragement, Mohini brought paints, painting materials and desk easels to Renée’s bijou flat, and they sat side by side and painted spontaneously flowers and nature colours. This series is entitled “Side By Side With Mama” painted in 2016.
