As Renée’s eyesight diminished into her later years, she was unable to paint and draw as she had done since her very early adolescence. Mohini encouraged Renée, one afternoon, with pencils and sketch pad to improvise, spontaneously, with suggestions of drawing faces. Mohini joined in with Renée spontaneously sketching Renée’s “portrait”. This short session produced five sketches which are entitled “Ma’s Very Last Sketches”. This is one of Mohini’s sketches shared here to complete the series.
