“Callanish, Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Scotland”, oil on canvas This painting was originally one which had the Callanish standing stones. The first attempt at this painting was entitled “Rusulka’s Song to the Moon”, It remained unfinished and I was unsatisfied with it. I thus scrapped it for what a plainer landscape at the Outer Hebrides. With a little bit more patience I now see – 2 years on that it may have looked quite different, had I stuck with it.
