Lotus – Waterlilies (after Monet) oil on paper, framed (2017). Whilst creating the new body of work for my upcoming exhibition at The View Gallery, Epping Forest Visitors Centre, I (re) found this painting, and a frame magically “appeared” . I felt it was fitting to include it in my exhibition, not only because a series of Lotus paintings will ensue, but also because very close to the gallery is a large pond where waterlilies grow.
