“Darren”

Description

“Darren” is an original oil painting.  We can only surmise, that due to the different versions of this sitter, Renée was in a portrait studio session, and produced several different “Darrens” – 2 in pencil and one other in water colour.   Renée was absolutely amazing at giving the likeness when painting a portrait.  What was also awesome, was that no person every sat live for her.  She painted all her portraits from photos.  She almost always painted portraits in oils. Oils was her preferred medium. As is mine! Go Mama!
